Project Statement

My second project on knitting needles were these pair of socks that I made with intarsia color work on the leg. I utilized a chart for the lobster design and even added in some purl bumps for a more 3-D detail. I learned how to knit socks and did a heel turn, and decreases to make a 3-D sock shape that would be wearable. These were gifted to my boyfriend or his birthday and the design is the pattern by Lysandre Hourdin on Ravelry. The pattern is originally written in French so there were some discrepancies, I solved this issue by also using a different basic sock pattern video on YouTube. I utilized both sources to create these socks.
