Project Statement

Inspired by Valentine’s Day, I created a window to a different world, filled with soft treasures and secrets only realized once opened. Using greyscale card stock, I was able to create a composition that emphasizes the organic shapes, while also complementing the lighter parts of the composition. Light pours through the sun cutout in the background to add a natural, hopeful feeling to the experience of opening the window to reveal the serene scene.
