Project Statement

For this project, I have aimed to design for disaster. The Modular Nap-Pack is an entirely crocheted camo blanket that can shift and morph into a haven of survival. Designed to assimilate into everyday life it can be utilized at any moment when the threat of evacuation happens. The Modular Nap-Pack unfolds into a warm crochet blanket for everyday coziness as well as a backpack for quick evacuation and storing essentials. If there is nowhere to sleep for the night the Nap-Pack can fold out into a warm and resilient sleeping bag with hidden pockets to protect valuables. The adjustable straps can be removed and utilized as rope for climbing, fastening, hunting, and attaching.
