Project Statement

Extruded Aluminum, Corrugated Polycarbonate.

This display system is designed to provide an immersive, but unobtrusive, retail experience for remote locations while remaining simple to set up and transport through an urban environment. Developed as a series of folding modules, the store can be adapted to fit the user’s needs. The main unit is a point-of-sale cart that when set up provides an accessible place to purchase items and store inventory. While also serving as a dolly to transport the other panels during transportation. The body of the store is composed of two folding corners: 1) a clothing rack and steel mesh panel for hanging items, 2) a clothing rack and shelving unit. Two storage bins can be slotted into the bases of the clothing racks to store extra inventory and enhances the stability of the corners. In addition, a folding mirror and a folding table complete the set. This was a collaborative project that was commissioned by The New Store through my Studio 4 class at Parsons School of Design and was spearheaded with guidance from my teacher, Joel Stoehr.
