Project Statement

Selected out of over 1700 applicants, I was a part of the 3% who were chosen to join Jazwares for their 2024 Summer Intern Cohort! I worked in the Product Development department of Core Squishmallows and was flown out to the brand-new Florida HQ in Plantation for onboarding and training. There, I met the rest of the intern cohort who would be working from all around the globe in different locations. I made lifelong friends and amazing connections with my peers and learned so much about the toy industry from guest speakers who came to HQ. Among those speakers included the CEO, Judd Zebersky, the CBO, Jeremy Padawer, and the CFO, Matthew Siesel. We were able to ask these industry giants questions we had about the company, the toy industry, and general topics. During my internship, I learned and worked on reviewing urgent EPs digitally, reviewing FEPs physically, writing comments back to factories, communicating with Design, updating Dev Log, inputting new items into Smart Sheets, and creating design overlays of EPs. I got the opportunity to shadow many different departments and chat with the managers of the teams about their department. I learned from the Hello Kitty and Friends Design team, Core Squishmallows Packaging team, Pokemon Brand team, and Girls Plush Design team.
